Emmetsburg, IA (KICD)– The month of March is only a few days away which means Emmetsburg is getting ready for its annual St. Patrick’s Day celebration.

The week of festivities will once again kick on Sunday, March 12th with the Miss Shamrock Pageant at Emmetsburg High School and those thinking about competing only have a few more days to register.

Coordinator Stephanie Mehan tells KICD News all spots are currently full for the Little Miss Shamrock contest which is for kids ages five though eight but there are still openings for all of the other categories including Miss Shamrock for high school aged participants.
