Estherville, IA (KICD)– A Spirit Lake man has been charged in a drug case that involved investigation from multiple law enforcement agencies.

The Estherville, Spirit Lake and Emmetsburg Police Department in conjunction with the Iowa Great Lakes Drug Task Force began looking into the sale of methamphetamine in the local area last Spring with an initial arrest being made earlier this month.

32-year-old Matthew Krogman-Meyer has been charged with delivery of a controlled substance and is accused for moving more than five grams of the drug.

Krogman-Meyer is being held in the Dickinson County Jail on 25 thousand dollars bond. If convicted, he faces up to 25 years in prison.

The investigation into the sale and use of illegal controlled substances is ongoing and police say additional charges are possible.
