Sheldon, IA (KICD)– Northwest Iowa Community College in Sheldon is reporting record enrollment for the current semester with overall numbers for the 2022-2023 academic year nearing school history levels.
Dr. John Hartog is the President of NCC. He tells KICD News part of the overall growth comes from increased numbers for some of the more hands-on programs but there are other factors to take into account.
Not only are the enrollment numbers hitting local record highs but so are some of the other measurement numbers like graduation and success rates.
Dr. Hartog adds some of the recent national recognition and attention for being one of the best overall community colleges and one of the best for career outcomes among others may also be helping Northwest Iowa Community College in continuing to see positive growth.
