Spencer, Ia (KICD) – The 102nd Northwest Am continues today at the Spencer Golf and Country Club. The 3rd Wave began their first round at 6:30 this morning, and the 1st wave will play their second round at 12:30 this afternoon.

PGA Proffesional at the Spencer Golf and Country Club Adam Coates was happy with what he saw from the leaders on Day 1

Hole 17 and 18 hit more than a few of teh leaders with bogeys on Day 1. Coates talked about some of the challenges the courses final two holes present.

Coates discussed some of the other holes at the Spencer Golf and Country Club that present challenges.

Weather and Course conditions have been great so far, and judging by the forecast, should stay that way. Coates says this makes for outstanding golf.
