Rolfe, IA (KICD)– A Rolfe man is facing charges after police were called to a domestic situation Monday morning.
The Pocahontas County Sheriff’s Office was initially called to a home in Rolfe just before 3 a.m. after learning a handgun had reportedly been fired during the incident.
An investigation determined multiple firearms were involved with one believed to have been discharged in self-defense. Police also took 44-year-old Clinton Wheeless into custody charging him with going armed with intent and domestic assault-impeding airflow.
