Spencer IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) –The Spencer Community School District held a special board meeting to discuss building projects at Johnson and Lincoln schools. Northwest Regional Vice President- Project Manager for Woodruff Construction, Kevin Larsen spoke with KICD spoke about the overall cost for both Johnson and Lincoln.

Larsen says that Johnson will not have heating available until later in the year.

 

Larsen says projects like this show a lot about the construction industries’ willingness to come together to help each other.

Woodruff Construction suffered damage during the flood as well, Larsen says they hope to be back in their office by the end of October.
