Okoboji IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) — The 9th annual Okoboji Blue Water Festival is right around the corner. The festival is set for August 10th at the Preservation Plaza Green Space in Arnolds Park.
Publicity Director Steve Weisman says the festival is about Both celebration and conservation.
Weisman talks about bringing in Biologist Mike Hawkins to talk about rebuilding collapsed shorelines.
Weisman says that the kids’ events range from face painting to a chalk contest.
The 9th annual Okoboji Blue Water Festival is Saturday, August 10th beginning at 8:00 am and will conclude with a free concert at 7:30pm.
