Armstrong, IA (KICD)– Patrons of the North Union school district vote Tuesday on renewal of the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy. It’s an optional funding tool that schools can use for building projects – both new construction or maintenance, technology, and buses. It would give the school board the authority to tax up to a dollar 34 per thousand dollars valuation in any year, but it can also be for a lower amount.
The two polling places in Emmet County are the Armstrong Community Center, and the United Lutheran Church in Ringsted
Polls will be open from 7am to 8pm on Tuesday.
