Spencer, IA (KICD)– The calendar says we are getting into Spring meaning planning is well underway for Spencer’s annual summer celebration- Flagfest.

Blake Goss for the Chamber of Commerce came to the City Council with an update this week noting many community favorites will be returning this year, including the parade.

Goss adds plans are currently in motion to once again feature a number of the city parks for events and activities like last year.

Flagfest 2023 will be Friday through Sunday June ninth through eleventh.
