Spencer, IA (KICD)– The City of Spencer will be undergoing an emergency response simulation on Thursday to help officials be prepared in the event of a disaster.

Mayor Steve Bomgaars adds that there is also some brainstorming underway as to how some members of the community could be involved in an emergency situation, but the city is also looking to make sure the operation is as organized as possible.
