Estherville, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) At Monday night’s Estherville City Council meeting the council elected former mayor Kenny Billings to fill the mayor vacancy. There were two candidates for the mayor vacancy; former mayor Kenny Billings and Paul Rademaker, who previously had run for mayor.

The mayor’s vacancy was created when former mayor AJ Edwards purchased a new home outside of city limits. Mayor Billings will serve as the city’s mayor until the next election.
