Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The Clay County Community Foundation and City of Spencer are teaming up for a new grant program aimed at helping property owners return curbsides to their pre-flood appearance.

Deputy City Manager Kevin Robinson   says 20 thousand dollars from the Foundation and 10 thousand dollars from the city’s care fund would provide the first 30 thousand.

 

 

 

The City Council approved participation this week. Guidelines and procures will be worked out in the next couple of weeks.

 

The initial intent is to assist property owners in residential areas.
