Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — More information has been released on a personal injury accident that occurred shortly after noon Saturday at a four-way stop in Spencer.

The official accident report says that 18-year-old Eleazar Villasenor Andrade from Ottumwa was Eastbound on 11th Street Southwest, ignored the stop sign, and t-boned the Northbound vehicle driven by 40-year-old Tricia Jochims-Morfitt from Cedar Falls that had stopped at her sign before proceeding.

Both drivers and two children in the Jochims-Morfitt vehicle complained of minor injuries. Three of them – we’re not sure which three – were transported by the Spencer fire department to Spencer Hospital to be checked out.

Villasenor Andrade was charged with failure to obey a stop sign, driving without a license, and failure to provide proof of insurance.
