Storm Lake, IA ((Northwestiowanow.com)– Watering restrictions will remain in place for Storm Lake this month. City officials are assessing the situation every few weeks, but City Manager Keri Navratil says the commodity is still a premium.

Navratil was intrigued recently when Governor Kim Reynolds wondered out loud if the state should start helping cities replace their water plants as an economic development tool.
