Estherville IA, (Northwest Iowa Now) — During Estherville City Council meeting Monday night city Administrator Penny Clayton spoke of two different grants. The first grant was that the city of Estherville awarded $250,000 for the campground.

Clayton says that there are two phases to the award.

 

The second grant Clayton spoke of was that the city submitted a grant application to the recreational trails program

 

The city has some of the funds for the trails program, but we’ll also be looking into other grant applications to fill in the gaps.
