Spirit Lake, IA (KICD)– A judge has sided with Dickinson County on a lawsuit surrounding an RV park being constructed on the site of the former Woodlyn Hills Golf Course near Milford.

A group that was opposed to the project took the matter to court saying the county made a procedural error when making the decision to build the park.

After bringing the news to the Board of Supervisors on Tuesday, Zoning Administrator Megan Kardell was asked what this will mean for future regulations for campgrounds like this.

The decision in the case was made by District Court Judge Charles Borth late last week.
