Estherville, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — Three Emmet County Fire Departments were at the scene of a bale fire for three hours Wednesday to make sure it didn’t spread in dry, windy conditions.

Estherville was dispatched to the farm on 375th Avenue around 8:30 and immediately requested mutual aid from Wallingford and Gruver fire crews.

There were no injuries and no immediate word on a cause.
