Accident Correction

Des Moines County, IA (Northwest Iowa Now) — Earlier this week Northwest Iowa Now reported on a story of a northwest Iowa man, who was involved in an accident on October 1st near Middleton, Iowa.

According to information from the Iowa State Patrol, a witness seen 87-year-old Marilyn Drebenstedt of Mediapolis traveling west and then come to a stop and back up on the travel way of U.S. Hwy 34; then turn left in front of 55-year-old Scott Hoops of Sanborn.  According to the release, Drebenstedt was cited at fault.  Drebenstedt died from her injuries in the accident.
