Spencer, IA (KICD) — The Clay County Sheriff’s department has released information about three arrests involving intoxicating substances:

On the evening on Monday, March 20th, they were attempting to serve a warrant to 37 year old Ashley Feather when a smell of marijuana was reportedly detected. Spencer Police arrived to help search the home. Feather was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after voluntarily turning both over to the authorities.

Saturday night a deputy pulled over 26 year old Jessee Woodcock for a traffic violation on highway 71 and says he smelled pot. After a search of the vehicle Woodcock was charged with possession of controlled substance, paraphernalia, and failure to yield half the right-of-way.

And 37 year old Trevor Kuhlman of Hartley was stopped at the North Y Saturday night around 10:30. He was charged with 3rd offense OWI, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, and speeding.
