Estherville, IA (KICD)– A local school district is talking communication and safety in the wake of a school shooting in Nashville Monday that left multiple people dead.
A statement issued by Estherville Lincoln Central Superintendent Tara Paul says students are encouraged to speak with a counselor or other trusted adult if they need help processing the event or have questions.
The statement goes on to say the district’s focus throughout the week with be on the mental, emotional and physical wellbieng of all students and staff.
Superintendent Paul adds safety continues to be the top priority and asks anyone seeing anything that could represent a potential threat to school safety to speak up.
