Storm Lake Domestic Assault

Storm Lake, IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) –A Storm Lake man is charged with assault by strangulation, a class D felony, obstruction of Emergency Communications, a simple misdemeanor and is being held without bond at the Buena Vista County Jail after a domestic assault report on Thursday October 17th.

When police arrived to 730 Lilly Court, , a victim said they had been physically assaulted and choked around thir neck by the suspect. The suspect is also accused of preventing the victim from calling the police for help. Officers arrested Moses Strickland on the scene, without incident. All defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty.
