Milford, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The 69-million-dollar bond issue for a new elementary and addition onto the high school for the Okoboji district was approved by district voters Tuesday. Superintendent Todd Abrahamson was confidant leading up to the vote.
Abrahamson says it’s the final piece of the long-range infrastructure plan.
If everything goes well the new elementary could be ready for the 2026-27 school year.
Votes in the Dickinson County portion of the Okoboji School district were 2,567 yes and 1,517 no, or nearly 63 percent approval.
