Primghar, IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) — Someone asked about the rough patches around the O’Brien County bridge east of Covey Corner on B40 on a social media page, and asked if the bridge approach was going to be repaired soon. Northwest Iowa Now checked in with O’Brien County Engineer Dennis Clark and he says the approach to the bridge still needs to settle before they finish repairs.
Clark says flood damage and flood recovery is about all the O’Brien County Secondary Roads crew has been dealing with.
Clark is hopeful they will get back to bigger projects for O’Brien County next year, but fixing bridges and more flood repairs will take a while.
O’Brien County Secondary Roads cover 1014 total miles.
