Spirit Lake, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — A second person has been charged in a Dickinson County drug case. We previously told you that a passenger in a vehicle stopped Monday night – 42-year-old Juan Roberto Rodriguez of Fairmont – was charged with trafficking meth and marijuana.
The driver – 51-year-old Amy Vanderpool from Council Bluffs – has now been charged with simple possession of meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Authorities say they found over 11 grams of methamphetamine and over 100 grams of pot in the vehicle when Vanderpool was stopped for speeding
