Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — The state of Iowa has released tourism stats for calendar year 2023. Olivia Baxter is Clay County’s Tourism Director.

 

For the first time ever, tourism spending in Iowa exceeded 7 billion dollars.

Baxter says there’s a photo contest open until December 15th to submit photos that might be used in the new Clay County visitor’s guide.
