Milford IA, (Northwestiowanow)– At the Milford City Council meeting Tuesday night Mayor Steve Anderson expressed concerns over the location of the Highway 71 trail crossing.

 

Anderson says the city is still dedicated to supporting the trail at a different crossing of Hwy. 71

 

There was also discussion on the old town hall, Anderson explains the demo cost is $200,000 and the appraisal cost is $230,000.

Anderson says the city will hold a public meeting where the public can express interest, or come up with ideas for what the city should do with the old town hall building.
