Paullina, IA (NorthwestIowaNow.com) -Paullina Fire Department needs more room and they are asking for help to build a new fire station.

That’s Fire Chief Ryan Harper. He says they have been visiting area fire departments for the last few years to find ideas to improve the Paullina firehouse, but number one on his list is space.

Harper says response time for fire calls will improve as well.

Land has already been purchased thanks to a generous donation, and now the fundraising begins.

Paullina Fire Department covers 2nd largest territory in O’Brien County, and they have automatic aid agreements with Calumet and Granville.
