Spencer, IA (Northwestiowanow.com) — An early Sunday traffic stop has resulted in drug charges against two men in Clay County.
The incident report says 20-year-old James Watson was pulled over for speeding, and the car was searched when the deputy smelled alcohol. He was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in addition to several traffic violations.
Two passengers were also charged: 19-year-old Russel Bair of Otho was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol and tobacco as a minor. 18-year-old Spence Bode was Cherokee was charged with being a minor in possession of alcohol and tobacco.
