Sioux Center, Ia (KICD) – Several Regional Schools were at the Dordt University High School Invite yesterday in Sioux Center.

In the Girls Long Jump, Rachel Schany of Emmetsburg placed 2nd with a leap of 16ft 6in.

For the Boys Long Jump, MMCRU’s Lucas Braun jumped 21ft .75in to place 2nd.

Rachel Schany of Emmetsburg won the Girls High Jump at 5ft 4in with Anthea Leupold of Spirit Lake taking 2nd at 4ft 10in with Leah Bolluyt, also of Spirit Lake, taking 3rd with a jump of 4ft 8in.

Byron Maina of Emmetsburg took 2nd with a height of 6ft 3in in the Boys High Jump.

Spirit Lake’s Lauren Travis won the Girls Shot Put with a toss of 41ft Point 75in with Estherville’s Hillary Ruschy taking 2nd at 38ft and Fran Travis of Spirit Lake was 3rd at 37ft 10.75in.

MMCRU’s Mitchell Schnepf was 3rd with a throw of 45ft 8in in the Boys Shot Put.

The MMCRU Boys 4x800m Relay team of Colling, Braun, Alesch, and Galles placed 1st with a time of 8:54.44.

Spirit Lake’s Leah Bolluyt won the Girls 60m Hurdles with a time of 9.45 seconds.

Ethan Stecker of Spirit Lake won the Boys 60m Hurdles with a time of 8.3 seconds, just ahead of teammate Cooper Winkel in 2nd at 8.47, and Emmetsburg’s Cameron Madden in 3rd with a time of 8.88.

Jaselyne Anderson of Estherville Lincoln Central finished 3rd in the Girls 60m Dash with a time of 8.23 seconds.

Spirit Lake’s Zoe Ackerman was 3rd in the Girls 400m Dash with a time of 1:03.29.

Qamerin Hussey won the Boys 400m Dash with a time of 52.1 seconds.

Estherville Lincoln Central’s Parker Duitsman won the Boys 1600m Run with a time of 4:36.58. MMCRU’s Kaden Galles was 2nd with a time of 4:47.63 and Spirit Lake’s Brandon Hughes took 3rd with a time of 4:47.63.

In the Boys 800m Run, Spirit Lake’s Ryder Sundall took 2nd with a time of 2:13.5.

Jaselyne Anderson of Estherville Lincoln Central won the Girls 200m Dash with a time of 27.27 seconds with her teammate Tatum Dunlavy finishing 3rd with a time of 27.85.

Ryan Leanard of Estherville Lincoln Central won the Boys 200m Dash with a time of 24.01 with Chase Pritts of Spirit Lake taking 2nd with a time of 24.51 seconds. Emmetsburg’s Tyce Jenness was 3rd with a time of 24.75.

The Spirit Lake Boys won the 4x400m Relay with a team of Hussey, Stecker, Winkel, and Orpen, clocking a time of 3:37.39.
