Sibley, Ia (KICD) – On today’s Spring Sports Preview we take a look at the SIbley-Ocheyedan Generals Girls Track and Field team. Coach Lisa Block talked about the key athletes on this year’s Generals Track and Field team.

The Generals bring back a strong group that took 3rd in a very competitive Siouxland Conference meet, and 4th in a State Qualifying meet with many of the same schools. Coach Block talked about how Sibley-Ocheyedan stacks up with the rest of the Siouxland Conference.

Despite being unable to use their track for the first few weeks of training, Block says the Generals have made the most of it whether it be indoor or on the streets.

Sibley-Ocheyedan will compete at the Dordt College Indoor Meet on Monday March 20th and are back in action on Tuesday the 28th at the University of South Dakota.
