Milford, Ia (KICD) – Prep Sporting events are on hold right now through Christmas Break, so the KICD Sports Department will be checking in on area Wrestling teams at this point in the season.

The Okoboji/HMS Pioneer Boys are seeing a lot of growth this season.

That is head coach Nathan Dau. He says the Pioneers finished 2023 strong despite early season injuries.

There are a lot of big Tournaments and Duals coming up, but Coach Dau says a real benchmark will be the OABCIG Tournament.

The district meet has become a much tougher group than previously anticipated.

Okoboji/HMS opens up the new season on January 4th at Manson-Northwest Webster for a Quad along with East Sac County and Pocahontas Area.
