Spencer, IA (KICD) — This year will be the 20th Anniversary of the Clay County Fair Queen Contest, which will be held Sunday evening in the Clay County Regional Events Center ballroom.

4 young ladies will compete for the crown. They are Linnea Bloom of Marathon; Aubrie Stell of Spencer; Hannah Tessum of Everly; and last year’s runner-up, Addison Wyman of Spencer.

This year’s Queen will receive over three-thousand-dollars in cash and prizes, as well as go on to compete at the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest in August.

The crowning of the 2024 Clay County Fair Queen on Sunday is open to the public, doors open at 6:30pm with the event beginning at 7pm.
