Spencer, IA (KICD) — A Spencer man has been charged with reckless driving in what Clay County authorities say was a case of road rage Friday morning.
57-year-old Eric Langholz was slowing to turn left in the 3400 Mile of 200th Avenue near the beltway industrial park shortly before 7am. 41-year-old Anthony Butler allegedly drove up behind him, then passed and maneuvered his vehicle so that Langholz would strike him.
After the two vehicles collided, they pulled into a driveway of a local business and Butler’s vehicle spun around on the lawn.
There were no injuries. Butler was also charged with improperly changing lanes.
