Pocahontas, IA (KICD) — A 26-year-old Pocahontas man has been arrested on multiple counts involving the alleged theft of livestock.

Online court documents indicate that the state of Iowa has taken the lead in prosecuting Corey Goeders, in a case that appears to involve Buena Vista, Calhoun, Clay, Kossuth, Palo Alto, Pocahontas, Webster, and Woodbury Counties.  Along with the Iowa Department of Public Safety; and the Iowa Department of Revenue.

Palo Alto County Sheriff John King says he can’t release specifics of the case because it’s still under investigation in multiple jurisdictions.

Goeders was taken into custody June 14th and charged with: Money Laundering, Seven counts of 1st Degree Theft, Nine counts of 2nd degree theft, One count of 4th Degree Theft, and tax evasion.

He was released on 50 thousand dollars bond to appear later.
