Orange City, IA (KICD) — A Sioux County jury has convicted a Sheldon woman of harassment.

In the case prosecuted by County Attorney Thomas Kunstle, 53-year-old Blanca Ann Boom-Struyk was found guilty of repeatedly contacting the victim over a three-year period despite instructions from numerous law enforcement agencies to cease and desist. He said Boom-Struyk specifically tried to intimidate, annoy, and alarm the victim.

Third degree Harassment is a simple misdemeanor. A sentencing hearing is scheduled for July 16th.
