Jackson, MN (KICD) — Farm Equipment Maker “AGCO” has corporate headquarters in Duluth, Georgia. But they have made Jackson – the site of an assembly plant – as the North American headquarters for their “Fendt” product line.
The company unveiled it’s new visitor and training center Wednesday. Mayor Marcus Polz says it will bring THOUSANDS of visitors to town each year.

That’s above and beyond the manufacturing jobs already in town.

Polz tells KICD the products built locally are the town’s national identity.

AGCO has acquired many name brands over the years including Terragator, Allis Chalmbers, White, and Massey Ferguson; but decided three years ago to make Fendt – founded in Germany – it’s signature product. CEO Eric Hansotia says Fendt sales have doubled since 2020.
