Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– An Alta woman has been charged after allegedly stealing merchandise from a Storm Lake grocery store.

Officers with the Storm Lake Police Department began the initial investigation in October after 37-year-old Emily Holliday was reportedly found to have taken more than 17 hundred dollars worth of items from the local Hy-Vee store on twelve different occasions that began in late June.

Holliday turned herself in to police on Tuesday and was charged with second degree theft.
