Arnolds Park, IA (KICD)– The City of Arnolds Park is addressing the use of some outdoor spaces at the recommendation of the city’s police department.
Wednesday night the city council tightened a loophole in the liquor license ordinance. Police Chief Al Krueger says now drinks must be kept inside the bar, unless the establishment gets an actual outdoor service license.
Krueger says he is also recommending a new ordinance that will allow his officers to clear parking lots where rowdy crowds are starting to gather.
The City Council indicated they would get an ordinance written and approved as soon as possible.
