Spencer, IA (KICD) – In Girls High School Basketball for Interconference play, Emmetsburg lost to Forest City 55-26, and Newell-Fonda rolled Kingsley-Pierson at the CNOS Arena Classic in Sioux City 71-42.

For non-conference Boys High School Basketball, Cherokee fell short to Kingsley-Pierson at the CNOS Arena Classic in Sioux City, West Bend-Mallard topped North Iowa 56-46, and Emmetsburg got past Forest City 59-48.
