Spencer, Ia (KICD) –  The Iowa Board of Education approved the Football Classification Amendment for the IHSAA that will add a socioeconomic factor to football classifications starting in the 2023-2024 school year. This Implements a formula for free and reduced lunch percentages and school enrollments to determine a new final classification number.
