Jolley, IA (KICD)– One of the two Northwest Iowa men reported missing in recent weeks has been located. The Calhoun County Sheriff’s department found the body of 54-year-old Mark Riesberg in a car near Jolley, Iowa Friday. It appears he died from a single gunshot wound and authorities do NOT expect foul play. The State Medical Examiner is performing an autopsy. Riesberg’s family reported him missing on October 28th.
There’s still no break in the search for 53-year-old David Schultz of Wall Lake who has been missing since November 21st when his abandoned semi was found on highway 20 with his wallet and cell phone still inside.
The group calling itself The United Cajun Navy says it has searched 100 thousand acres in Sac, Calhoun, Webster, and Wright Counties.
