Cherokee and Sheldon/South O’Brien, went to the Jim Henrich Westerner Invitational hosted by Akron-Westfield.

Akron-Westfield won with 196 points, Cherokee took 3rd with 151, and Sheldon/South O’Brien took 8th with 93.

No KICD area Wrestlers won Individual Championships.

Emmetsburg hosted the Bob Roethler Invite with Estherville Lincoln Central, GTRA, Okoboji/HMS, Pocahontas Area, Spencer, Spirit Lake/Park, Storm Lake, and West Bend-Mallard attending from the KICD area.

Hampton-Dumont-CAL came away with the Team title at 222 points, Estherville Lincoln Central took 3rd with 189.5, Spencer 4th with 166, Emmetsburg 5th with 133, Pocahotnas Area 7th with 112, Okoboji/HMS 10th with 81, GTRA 13th at 68, Storm Lake 14th with 59, West Bend-Mallard 15th with 52, and Spirit Lake/Park 17th at 35.

KICD area wrestlers winning championships were Caleb Swedin of GTRA at 126, Levi Johnson of Spencer at 150, Justin Wirtz of Emmetsburg at 165, Jace Nelson-Brown of Emmetsburg at 175, and Ryan Wirtz of Emmetsburg at 190.

Sibley-Ocheyedan hosted their home Tournament with Alta-Aurelia, North Union, and MMCRU attending from the KICD area.

Hinton won with 267 points, Alta-Aurelia was 2nd with 205, North Union 3rd with 194, and Sibley-Ocheyedan 4th with 149.

KICD area wrestlers winning championships were Eli Rieb of Alta-Aurelia at 106, Aden Rieb of Alta-Aurelia at 120, Jackson Hutchinson of North Union at 132, Gavyn Morphew of North Union at 150, Aidan Beyer of Sibley-Ocheyedan at 157, Angel Barajas of Alta-Aurelia at 215, and Michael Block of Sibley-Ocheyedan at 285.
