Jackson, MN (KICD)– The City of Jackson is beginning a search for not one, but two higher level staff positions.
City Administrator Matt Skaret says he will be exploring other opportunities after serving in his current role for more than five years.
Economic Development Coordinator Dave Schmidt is following suit after two years on the job.
The Jackson City Council decided on Tuesday that it will have South Central Service Cooperative conduct a search for both positions.
The city will also be severing ties with Community and Economic Development Associates with plans to bring economic development duties back in house.
