Storm Lake, IA (KICD)– The City of Storm Lake has reached a long awaited agreement with Tyson Foods.

City Manager Keri Navratil says a large part of the contract that was signed last week involves water supply and usage from both sides.

Navratil adds a separate section was also put in the agreement that deals with the effects of a natural disaster or change of ownership.

The new contract, like the one that was set to expire in the near future will be in place for the next 20 years.
