Spencer, IA (KICD) — The City of Spencer is requesting that people parking on residential streets in the city, follow a parking-pattern to allow for easier debris removal.

Between 7am and 7pm starting Sunday, June 30th – people should park along the side of “even house numbers.”  On Monday, July 1st – people should park along the side of street with “odd house numbers.”  The city is asking the public to follow this request, rotating between and “even” and “odd” house numbers until further notice.

This parking pattern will allow for extra room when removing debris, and also be safer for the public.
