Spencer, IA (KICD)– The Clay County Community Foundation is readying to help support various parts of the local communities through it annual grant cycle.

Executive Director Teri Batschelet says there are three different grant levels that can be applied for when the new season opens on Wednesday.

Last year the Clay County Community Foundation was able to disperse more than 153 thousand dollars in grants with this year’s availability expected to be very similar if not slightly higher.
