Spencer, IA (KICD)– Quilts and antique sewing machines are center stage at the current temporary exhibit at the Clay County Heritage Center.
Museum Director Braden Falline says the display was the suggestion of a Spencer resident who observed the quilts – made with discarded items found on the border with Mexico – in Arizona.
The Clay County Heritage Center is open Tuesday through Fridays from 10 to 4 and Saturdays 10 to 3. The current exhibit will be on display until May 18th.
