Spencer IA, (KICD)—Clay County is looking at the possibility of constructing a new building to house Emergency Medical Services for the county.

Emergency Management Coordinator for Clay County Eric Tigges tells KICD News the main idea behind the thought process is to give easy access to emergency equipment.

Tigges says storage is just the start of what a building for EMS could be used for.

The Clay County Board of Supervisors has requested EMS personnel to get some initial building quotes to help make the decision process move along.
