Spencer, IA (KICD)– For the third year in row the cardboard boat races will be featured at flag fest but this time adding a competitive twist.

Like all great rivalries the challenge between the Spencer Chamber of Commerce and Spencer radio group has unclear origin but what is known is that the entire community is welcome to participate.

 

Spencer Chamber Program Director Blake Goss tells Rhi from more 104.9 that the races once again this year will be taking place at Stolley Park on the west side of Spencer.
