Spencer, IA (KICD)– Congressman Randy Feenstra made a stop at Spencer Hospital on Thursday to learn about some of the local options available for child healthcare.
During his time at the University of Iowa Child Specialty Clinic, Feenstra was able to speak some of the families utilizing services to help paint a picture of how much this type of care is needed.
Congressman Feenstra adds one of his priorities in Washington is to find ways to provide the needed resources to make sure what ever health issues a child may be suffering through can be caught and treated early.
Feenstra, who its sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, notes child healthcare is at the top of his list of priorities especially knowing that the issues are different for each child verses there being just one simple way to solve the overall problem.
